CCR Project Newsletter No. 13 – April–July 2026

Between April and July 2026, the CCR Project continued to strengthen rural resilience in Cuba, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.

During this period, the Annual Partners’ Meeting was held in Dajabón to share regional lessons learned on governance and the replication of nature-based solutions; nearly 30,000 seedlings were distributed for forest restoration and river protection; biointensive gardens, permaculture, and silvopastoral systems led by women and youth were promoted; and environmental education in schools was strengthened alongside scientific research applied to soil conservation.
