The breath-taking nature and the people living within the Caribbean Biological Corridor are affected severely by the consequences of climate change. The “Resilient Caribbean Communities” (CCR) project aims at developing innovative, nature-based solutions to preserve those unique Caribbean habitats for animal and plant species, advocating for strong, healthy ecosystems and, above all, supporting the population in adapting to the impacts of climate change.

Applied solutions
The climate crisis and its consequences are the greatest challenge of our time. Learn about our approach to tackle it.
Green solutions to adapt to climate change impacts
The CCR project engages “Ecosystem-based Adaptation” (EbA) and reforestation measures to support the local population to adapt to the consequences of climate change. Nature itself provides a wide range of protective solutions to preserve ecosystem services that are crucial to safeguard people’s livelihoods. Thus, resilience is strengthened.
