CONCERT ACTION

Concert-Action was founded in 1997 with a clear vision of improving the quality of life for disadvantaged rural populations and contributing to the country's development. Its mission covers various fields, including agriculture and environment, community health, water access, education, strengthening local authorities, and disaster risk management, working in an integrated manner with the communities. The overall objective is to mobilize all sectors to restore and meet identified needs.

• The intervention areas of Concert-Action are as follows (Current and Former Communes): West Department: Petit-Goave, Grand-Goave, Léogane • South-East Department: Bainet, Côtes-de-Fer, Cayes-Jacmel, Marigot, Anse-à-Pitres • North-East Department: Vallières, Sainte Suzanne • North Department: Borgne, Port-Margot, Bas-Limbé, Saint-Raphael, Plaisance • Nippes Department: Baradères, Plaisance des Nippes

In Borgne and Vallières, the CCR project aims to develop communal plans for EbA, restore and protect degraded areas, and support farmers with EbA measures. Additionally, the project seeks to establish local, regional, or sectoral exchange platforms in the project regions concerning environmental protection, EbA, and climate risks.
